Recently, I saw someone’s wallet being “stolen right under their nose” again. Most of the records are caused by old authorizations: back in the day, to save one confirmation, they granted unlimited access to a certain contract. Later, that contract was upgraded, the front end was changed, or it was hacked, and your balance is basically like sleeping with the door open... In simple terms, revoking permissions is like closing the door and drawing the curtains—doing it makes you feel more secure. Hardware wallets are still out of stock, phishing links are everywhere, and don’t expect “I won’t click the wrong link.” Anyway, I plan to go clear out all the old authorizations in my wallet after I use it. I’d rather spend a few extra seconds on gas than wake up in the middle of the night to find my funds transferred away, thinking I was sleepwalking. That’s all for now—time to check the pile of old authorizations in my wallet.
