Zelenskyy Urges NATO to Increase Air Defense Support for Ukraine During Summit

According to Jin10, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy urged NATO and its member states on July 7 to increase air defense assistance during the NATO summit. Zelenskyy stated that air defense is Ukraine's current "top priority." While Ukraine can handle many defense tasks independently, it still needs greater commitment from partners in the air defense sector. Zelenskyy also noted that Ukraine has discussed Patriot air defense system production licenses with the U.S. and will continue talks with President Trump on July 8, including the Patriot system and other defense matters.
