Yageo Raises Capacitor Prices Today, AI Server MLCCs Up 15%-35%

According to media reports, Yageo notified customers today (July 1) of price increases across its capacitor product line, including multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), aluminum electrolytic, tantalum, and film capacitors. Overseas MLCC leaders including Murata, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and Taiyo Yuden previously announced similar increases, with high-capacity MLCCs for AI servers rising 15%-35%, some scarce models doubling in spot market prices.

Multiple MLCC manufacturers are preparing additional price hikes for the second half of 2026, according to industry participants at the Munich Shanghai Electronics Show on July 1.
