U.S. Households and Institutions Hit Historic 65% Stock Allocation on July 27, Up 31 Percentage Points Since 2008

According to Goldman Sachs data released on July 27, U.S. households, pension funds, insurance institutions, and investment funds reached a historic 65% stock allocation, up approximately 31 percentage points from post-2008 financial crisis lows and exceeding internet bubble peak levels. G10 countries' similar investors also increased allocations to about 57%, approximately 12 percentage points above previous cycle highs.
