Market sentiment shifted after President Trump declared an end to the ceasefire with Iran on Truth Social, stating that while Iran requested continued talks, the US had clarified the truce was over. Following the announcement, the 30-year yield hit a session high of 5.0800%. The US Treasury later sanctioned funding channels for Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, including shadow money exchangers moving billions annually for sanctioned Iranian banks.
