Ukraine Destroys Russian Tu-95 Strategic Bomber on July 17, Tail Section Completely Severed

According to President Zelensky on July 17, Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) destroyed a Russian Tupolev Tu-95 strategic bomber in the Yangelis region of Russia, approximately 800 kilometers from Ukraine's border. The aircraft was struck by what is believed to be an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), with the strike targeting the rear section of the bomber. The impact caused the tail section to completely separate from the aircraft.
