Tom Lee, chairman of BitMine Immersion Technologies, called Lighter (LIT) a critical infrastructure layer for Ethereum on July 27, 2026. BitMine, listed on NYSE as BMNR, disclosed 5.79 million ether holdings on the same day, with 4.92 million coins staked. Lighter is an Ethereum layer-2 perpetual DEX that handled $43 billion in trading volume over 30 days. LIT trades near $2.19, up 4.7% on the day. Lee's endorsement marks Lighter's addition to his list of key Ethereum layer-2 winners.
