According to Bitget data, spot gold surged $20 on July 20, reaching $4,039.58 per ounce. WTI crude oil fell below $81 per barrel with a daily decline of 1.69%, while Brent crude dropped 1.00% to $85.33 per barrel.

Iranian officials proposed a 10-day pause in strikes to seek restoration of the interim agreement between Iran and the United States, according to a senior Iranian source.
