Spot Gold Rises to $4,075.60 as U.S.-Iran De-escalation Pressures Crude Oil

According to Kitco NewsWire, spot gold traded near $4,075.60 an ounce Monday, up 0.59%, as a pause in U.S.-Iran military actions eased energy-driven inflation concerns. Spot silver also gained 0.45% to $58.29. Crude oil prices declined sharply following the de-escalation: Brent crude fell 6.3% to $85.87 a barrel and U.S. crude dropped 7.5% to $82.61. Treasury yields eased alongside oil prices, while positioning remained cautious ahead of Wednesday's Federal Reserve decision.
