Gate News message, April 27 — Sky Protocol announced the development of Laniakea, a standardized infrastructure framework designed for institutional-scale capital deployment on its Sky Agent Network. The protocol currently manages over $11 billion in USDS circulation and generates yield through DeFi lending, private credit, and compliant real-world assets strategies.
Laniakea addresses the $300+ billion in idle stablecoins lacking unified infrastructure by implementing standardization across four dimensions: smart contracts, risk and governance, data infrastructure, and legal compliance. This modular approach enables new capital products to launch without rebuilding foundational layers, while unified risk measurement and loss stratification mechanisms ensure transparency and clear accountability.
Within this framework, Sky Agents (Primes) will develop investment strategies and compete for capital allocation based on standardized criteria, while specific products (Halos) deploy rapidly on shared infrastructure. Laniakea will encode the entire protocol’s operating state in machine-readable format, enabling AI-driven real-time risk management and capital orchestration. As capital scales and yields increase, Sky plans to strengthen SKY token value capture through buyback and staking mechanisms.
