Samsung Active, NH-Amundi Launch AI Optical Communication ETFs on July 14 as Goldman Sachs Eyes 9X Market Expansion

According to the Korea Exchange, Samsung Active Asset Management and NH-Amundi Asset Management listed optical communication and satellite network-themed ETFs on July 14, 2026. The listings reflect growing investment focus on next-generation AI infrastructure as tech giants shift from power grid expansion to addressing data center bottlenecks through optical networking.

Goldman Sachs projects the optical networking market could expand roughly 9-fold to approximately $154 billion as Nvidia's next-generation Rubin Ultra (NVL576) AI server platform gains wider adoption. Samsung Active's active-managed ETF comprises 20 holdings in low-earth orbit satellites and optical infrastructure, while NH-Amundi's passive strategy tracks 10 U.S. AI optical communication leaders including Marvell Technology, Coherent, Lumentum, Corning, and FormFactor.
