Polygon Launches Private Stablecoin Payments for USDC and USDT on Monday

GateNews

According to The Defiant, Polygon Labs launched a private payment feature for stablecoins in its consumer wallet on May 5. The “Privately Send” option, developed with privacy protocol Hinkal, enables users to transfer USDC and USDT on Polygon while masking sender, recipient, and transaction amount on-chain. Transfers are verified through zero-knowledge proofs, allowing external observers to confirm valid transactions occurred without viewing participants or amounts. The non-custodial feature includes built-in Know Your Transaction (KYT) screening and targets institutional payment use cases.
