According to PixVerse, the Singapore-based AI video generation platform closed a Series C extension on July 14, bringing total Series C funding to US$439 million. The round attracted investors including Alibaba, Lollapalooza Capital, Ivy Capital, Grand Mount Capital, Eastern Bell Capital, Mirae Asset, BlueFocus, and CloudAlpha, alongside returning backers iGlobe Partners and OCBC's LionX Ventures.

PixVerse is expanding into games and interactive entertainment with its R1 real-time world model, launched in January 2026. The R1 generates a live audiovisual world that responds in real-time to user input during a session rather than producing a fixed video clip.
