Paradigm announced on Wednesday a $1.2 billion fourth fund targeting AI, robotics, crypto, and other emerging technologies. The San Francisco-based crypto venture firm said the fund will expand its investments beyond digital assets while maintaining its research-driven approach, according to managing partner Alana Palmedo.

Paradigm's portfolio includes AI company Nous Research, autonomous drone developer Zipline, decentralized exchange Hyperliquid, and prediction market platform Kalshi. The firm raised a $2.5 billion crypto fund in 2021, followed by an $850 million early-stage blockchain fund in 2024.
