NEAR Protocol Launches Confidential Intents, $1.5B ZEC Settled; 42% of Trades Use Confidential Mode

ZEC5.63%

According to NEAR Protocol's official announcement on July 8, the platform launched Confidential Intents, making its confidential execution infrastructure available to all developers. Developers and dApps can integrate NEAR's 1Click Swap API to enable confidential trading functionality for users.

Confidential Intents uses encryption rather than proof generation, eliminating the need for client-side proofs and avoiding additional wallet complexity. User data is encrypted individually rather than pooled. Since launch, over $1.5 billion in ZEC has been settled through NEAR Intents, with 42% of trading volume on near.com using confidential mode within weeks of deployment. Daily confidential TVL has exceeded $30 million.
