KOSPI Falls to 7,475.94, Down 7.8% Since July 3, as Foreign Investors Sell Over 4 Trillion Won

According to the Korea Exchange, KOSPI fell to 7,475.94 on July 11, marking a 7.8% decline from 8,088.34 on July 3. The index dipped to 7,246.79 on July 8. Despite market volatility, domestic retail investors provided support with net purchases of 5.5994 trillion won over the week. Foreign investors, however, sold 4.0705 trillion won net, continuing their retreat from the Korean market. Retail investors focused heavily on semiconductor stocks, with SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics receiving 3.7154 trillion won and 2.1810 trillion won in net purchases, respectively.
