According to Korea Exchange, the KOSDAQ index fell 5.33% to close at 749.64 on July 20, with intraday lows reaching 747.00, marking a new 52-week low. Market capitalization dropped below 420 trillion won. The index has declined 38.9% from its April 27 peak of 1,226.18. Trading volume hit 4.79 trillion won, the lowest in approximately 11 months, as market liquidity concentrated on large-cap semiconductor stocks, leaving mid and small-cap KOSDAQ-listed companies with diminished investment interest.
