Iran Launches Drone Strikes on U.S. Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain on July 17

According to Iran's Army public relations department, Iran's military launched drone strikes against Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain in the early morning of July 17, as part of Operation Lightning's 11th phase. The statement indicated that the attack targeted U.S. helicopter deployment areas and P-8 reconnaissance aircraft positions using Aras suicide drones. Iran stated the action was in response to recent U.S. strikes on Iranian civilian infrastructure that caused civilian casualties.
