IOTA-2.92%
According to IOTA Foundation's official announcement, Kenya, Morocco, and Nigeria have been selected as the first countries to implement the ADAPT initiative. The three nations were chosen following a rigorous evaluation of political commitment, regulatory readiness, digital infrastructure maturity, and stakeholder participation. ADAPT, launched in November 2025 by the African Continental Free Trade Area secretariat in collaboration with the Tony Blair Institute, World Economic Forum, and IOTA Foundation, aims to build shared digital infrastructure for intra-African trade, covering digital identity, cross-border data exchange, and payment interoperability.
