Hyperliquid Launches 'Stars' Feature with Address Whitelist for HIP-3 DEX on Testnet

HYPE-2.26%
According to BlockBeats, Hyperliquid's testnet introduced a new 'stars' feature on July 27, enabling optional address whitelisting for HIP-3 DEX markets. Deployers can restrict opening and increasing positions to whitelisted addresses, with a current testnet limit of 10,000 addresses per market. Unauthorized addresses can still deposit funds and submit closing-only orders to reduce existing positions. The feature maintains Hyperliquid's permissionless base layer while adding optional access control, allowing developers to enable or disable it as needed for tokenized stocks, real-world assets, regulated products, and institutional markets.
