According to South Korea Exchange, foreign investors sold 12.89 trillion won worth of semiconductor stocks in July, shifting focus from Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix to materials, components, and equipment suppliers. In the same period, SK Hynix saw net selling of 6.05 trillion won, while Samsung Electronics faced 4.88 trillion won in net outflows.
Foreign investors concentrated purchases on AI-related supply chain players. LG Innotek, DB Hitech, Rino Industrial, and ISC collectively received net inflows. These companies are expected to benefit from expanding AI infrastructure investment, with operating profit forecasts showing improvements of 78.4% for LG Innotek, 69% for ISC, and 32.3% for DB Hitech.
