According to FinanceFeeds, the Financial Commission has launched a voluntary certification framework for proprietary trading firms, establishing dispute-resolution standards in a sector that has grown faster than its rules and consumer protections.
The Prop Firm Certification reviews firms' trading rules, evaluation criteria, payout policies, risk controls and complaint-handling procedures. Certified firms receive a public certificate and website listing. The framework does not regulate firms as financial institutions but creates an independent process to examine trading records, platform logs and rule enforcement—addressing recurring industry disputes over drawdowns, payout denials and anti-abuse clause interpretation.
