Ethereum, Solana Led Crypto Losses in H1 2026 with $1 Billion Stolen, Blockaid Report

According to Blockaid's H1 2026 security report published Tuesday, crypto losses exceeded $1 billion in the first half of 2026, marking the industry's highest total for any six-month period. Ethereum and Solana recorded the largest losses from security incidents affecting their networks, with $332 million and $326 million in stolen funds, respectively. Blockaid tracked 212 security incidents during the period, with code exploits driving Ethereum incidents while key compromises and breaches of signing infrastructure accounted for most Solana losses.
