Dune Cuts 25% of Workforce This Week to Focus on Core Data Products Amid AI Push

According to CEO Fredrik Haga, Dune cut 25% of its workforce this week (May 15) to focus on core data products relied upon by thousands of crypto industry clients. The restructuring is part of the company's increased investment in AI tools, including Dune MCP, which enables teams and agents to build dashboards and workflows without requiring SQL or data infrastructure knowledge. Haga noted that Dune is well-funded and previously raised $69.42 million in Series B financing led by Coatue in 2022.
