DS Asset Management Launches First ETF, DS KOSDAQ Active, on July 14

According to Korean Economic Daily, DS Asset Management launched its first exchange-traded fund, DS KOSDAQ Active, on July 14. The actively managed ETF focuses on selecting and weighting KOSDAQ-listed companies in structural growth sectors, rather than passively tracking a benchmark index. On its debut, DS KOSDAQ Active rose 3.49% as the KOSDAQ index fell 1.92% on the same day. The product follows Midas Asset Management's launch of MIDAS KOSDAQ Active in May, as smaller asset managers pursue differentiated strategies in the rapidly growing ETF market.
