Delta Launches Basic Business Class Without Lounge Access and Seat Selection

Delta Air Lines is introducing a new basic-tier pricing option for its business and first-class cabins that excludes complimentary airport lounge access and seat selection, according to recent announcements. The airline is following United Airlines, which implemented similar changes to its Polaris long-haul business class and other premium cabin offerings earlier this year. Airlines are increasingly segmenting premium fares to maximize revenue from high-value travelers.
