Coway Posts Q2 Revenue of 1.409 Trillion Won, Rental Accounts Hit Record 200k Nets

According to Yonhapinfomax citing consensus from five major Korean brokers, Coway reported Q2 revenue of 1.409 trillion won (up 11.93% year-over-year) and operating profit of 266.9 billion won (up 9.97% YoY). Domestic rental account net adds reached 200,000 in Q2, marking a record quarterly high and up 27% from the prior year period.

Southeast Asian operations drove growth, with Malaysia's revenue projected at 433.7 billion won (up 22%), supported by new product categories including mattresses and air conditioners. Thailand posted expected net adds of 30,000-40,000 accounts with roughly 35% revenue growth. Additionally, Coway N-Tech secured a water treatment contract for SK Hynix's U.S. semiconductor facility, expected to add approximately 80 billion won in revenue over the next two years.
