Core Scientific Increases Bitcoin Holdings to 848 BTC in Q2, Revenue Surges to $164.2M

According to Bitcoin Magazine, Core Scientific raised its Bitcoin holdings to 848 BTC in the second quarter, adding 301 BTC from a previous position of 547 BTC. The Nasdaq-listed miner's revenue climbed to $164.2 million from $78.6 million year-over-year, while gross profit jumped to $70 million from $5 million. On July 29, Core Scientific signed a 2.5-gigawatt data center capacity agreement with AMD, which will receive over 500 megawatts of AI-ready infrastructure as the company shifts resources toward high-performance computing.
