On Wednesday (July 8), COMEX gold futures fell 1.74% to $4,085.20 per ounce at New York close, while spot gold declined 0.73% to $4,076.31. Silver futures dropped 3.01% to $58.58 per ounce, and spot silver fell 2.83% to $58.30.
