China's Foreign Ministry Warns Against 'Decoupling' Global Supply Chains on July 15

According to China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian during a regular press briefing on July 15, artificially pursuing "decoupling and breaking chains" and constructing protectionist barriers will only result in higher economic costs for all parties. Lin stated that the current global supply chain is deeply intertwined, with mutual reliance creating a community of shared interests where "one thrives while all thrive, and one suffers while all suffer." He emphasized that such measures violate market principles and corporate choices. China will continue to expand high-level opening-up and provide quality products and cooperation opportunities to the world, according to the Foreign Ministry statement.
