According to MetaversePost, on July 14, Bybit's Global Head of TradFi and Real-World Assets Yoyee Wang highlighted trust, regulation, and tokenization as key drivers shaping institutional digital asset adoption during a panel session at LEAP East 2026.
Wang emphasized that institutional adoption prioritizes capital preservation and regulatory certainty over returns. "Institutions don't suddenly move significant capital into a new asset class," Wang stated. "They start with measured allocations, validate the infrastructure, and gradually increase exposure as confidence grows." Wang noted that clearer regulatory frameworks are increasingly viewed as competitive advantages, encouraging new institutions to enter the sector. She also pointed to tokenized money market funds as examples of how blockchain enhances capital management efficiency for traditional financial participants.
