According to Jason Hughes, VP of Development and Engineering at Ocean Mining, BIP-110 miner signaling support has remained below 1%, with only 0.6% of blocks signaling in support over the past 60 days. Hughes stated on X that the soft fork proposal has less than a 5% chance of succeeding and suggested miners should monitor network activity around block 961632, the proposed activation point.
In a detailed analysis, Hughes noted that between 7% and 15% of Bitcoin nodes are signaling support for the proposal, far below the consensus threshold. He added that major mining pools are currently running Bitcoin Core versions v30 or v31 but have not yet deployed the technical infrastructure required to support BIP-110, indicating they remain uncommitted to the proposal.
