Aegis Asset Management Secures 490 Billion Won in Project Financing for Shincheonim D.Cube City Remodeling, Launches Construction Mid-July

According to Edaily, Aegis Asset Management's Shincheonim D.Cube City remodeling project in Seoul overcame a default-of-event (EOD) crisis after securing 490 billion won in project financing in May. Construction begins mid-July with completion targeted for July 2027. The financing structure comprises Tranche A (356 billion won), Tranche B (120 billion won), and Tranche C (14 billion won), with maturity set for January 2028.

The mixed-use commercial and office development will convert a vacant former Hyundai department store into a global-standard workspace featuring a ground scraper design—a horizontal layout allowing 300+ workers per floor. Positioned adjacent to Shincheonim Station (Seoul Metro Lines 1 and 2), the asset gains strategic value as the GTX-B express transit line launches in 2031, reducing travel time to Incheon's Songdo International City to approximately 15 minutes.
