The new round of emergency plan formulation and revision work at the national level will be completed before December of this year.

Journalists learned from today’s Emergency Management Department quarterly routine press conference that in 2025, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the “National Emergency Response Plan for Major Incidents,” requiring all regions and relevant departments to promptly adjust the content of emergency plans based on the results of emergency response and drill evaluations. Currently, a new round of emergency plan formulation and revision work at the national level has been fully launched. According to the plan, emergency plans at the national level that need to be formulated or revised after assessment are generally expected to be completed by December 2026. (CCTV News)
