It is estimated that in April, the major oil refineries nationwide will crush approximately 7 million tons of soybeans.

Last week, the operating rate of oil mills slightly declined, and the weekly soybean crushing volume decreased. According to monitoring of crushing conditions, as of April 24, the nationwide major oil mills’ soybean crushing volume in April was about 5.5 million tons. It is expected that the total soybean crushing volume for the month will be around 7 million tons, a decrease of approximately 1.3 million tons month-on-month, an increase of about 1.6 million tons year-on-year, and about 300k tons higher than the average for the same period over the past three years.
