Trump Says Banks Should Not Block Crypto Market Structure Bill
Trump said at a private event at Mar-a-Lago that the White House will not let banking lobbying groups hinder the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. Trump said banks should not obstruct stablecoin and crypto regulatory frameworks and added that crypto has entered the mainstream. The U.S. banking industry had previously raised concerns that stablecoin reward mechanisms could affect traditional deposits and slow the legislative process.
