Say whatever you want, SBF was one of the greatest venture investors of his generation.


In about a year he wrote three checks:
> $500M into Anthropic in 2021
> $648M into Robinhood during its post-IPO crash
> $200K into Cursor when it was four MIT kids with no product
Today those stakes would be worth $61B, $5B, and $3B.
Except nobody holds them. The bankruptcy liquidated everything.
> Anthropic went for $1.3B
> Robinhood bought its own shares back for $605M
> Cursor sold for $200K, same as the original check, for a company now worth $3B
He made all these bets at 29, while running a $32B exchange.
Then he stole $8B from customers and the whole empire caved in. The picks kept compounding. The estate just wasn't allowed to hold them.
