They have just arrested a 27-year-old German hacker in Bangkok for a massive digital extortion network. The man operated a ransomware platform from 2021 until recently, selling DDoS attack tools to clients around the world. Basically, it worked as a cybercrime service: you paid in crypto or other digital assets, and he gave you access to tools like Fluxstress to launch attacks.

They caught him in Bangkok with 74 arrest warrants pending in Europe. He is now detained, awaiting extradition to Germany. The scale of this is quite serious; he operated for years moving digital money from people who paid for attack services. What madness—he must have thought he could keep doing this without getting caught.
