In trading, true understanding never comes from a sudden breakthrough—it’s something you grind through.

At the beginning, every stage feels unbearable:
Your wallet shakes back and forth, and your heart rises and falls with it;
You can see the opportunities but can’t grasp them, waiting day after day;
You get the direction wrong, can’t bring yourself to leave, and end up losing more and more;
You’ve clearly planned everything, but once you enter the game, emotions sweep you away;
The market moves in the opposite direction—ignoring it, refusing to back down, and forcing yourself to hold on;
You take a little profit and run, but when you’re losing, you stubbornly keep fighting;
When your position is too heavy, your hands start to tremble.

You can’t escape any of these hardships.

Later, you slowly learn:
Sitting alone in front of the screen, quietly waiting for your own signals;
When there’s no opportunity, don’t move—no matter if the whole day goes by with nothing done;
When you realize you’re wrong, admit it—get out with small losses; that’s not embarrassing;
Manage yourself—don’t wrestle with the market, and don’t compare with others;
When the market is unfavorable, step back one pace and wait for the wind to turn;
If you’ve set rules, stick to them—even if this time you earn less, you won’t regret it;
Each time, only test with the money you can afford to lose—never press your whole life savings.

That’s when you realize that real progress isn’t measured by how much you make, but by:
Not rushing anymore, not being afraid anymore, not being greedy anymore, and not panicking anymore.

You start to accept going slowly:
One step a day, one step a week, even one step a month—it’s all fine.
You know those hard days weren’t in vain.
Every stretch of suffering is helping you grind your mindset thicker and make your actions steadier.

And one day, when you look back,
You’ll see that all the pain you managed to endure has turned into the wall under your feet.
Standing on it, you can finally wait quietly for the bloom that belongs to you.
