Just came across something that really puts things in perspective about how wealth and political power intertwine globally. The numbers are honestly wild.
So apparently Putin sits at the top with an estimated $70 billion in assets, which is just mind-boggling when you think about it. Then you've got Trump at around $5.3 billion from his real estate empire, and Khamenei from Iran with about $2 billion tied to decades of political influence.
What's interesting is how the wealth accumulates differently for each leader. Joseph Kabila from the Democratic Republic of Congo has roughly $1.5 billion, while the Sultan of Brunei is at $1.4 billion, known for living pretty extravagantly. King Mohammed VI of Morocco sits around $1.1 billion across various holdings.
Michael Bloomberg's $1 billion comes from an actual business empire he built in financial media, which is a different story compared to some of the others. Then there's Abdel Fattah el-Sisi from Egypt with approximately $1 billion in estimated wealth, though the exact breakdown of Abdel Fattah el-Sisi's net worth remains somewhat opaque given the nature of state-linked ventures. Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is at $700 million, and Macron rounds out the list at around $500 million.
It's a mix of inheritance, business acumen, and strategic state connections. The pattern is pretty clear when you look at it this way.
Speaking of valuations and wealth tracking, crypto markets have been moving too. Bitcoin's hovering around $67K with a slight uptick, Ethereum near $2K, and BNB holding steady around $590. These assets represent a totally different kind of wealth accumulation compared to political fortunes, but the scale of money involved is definitely worth paying attention to. If you're tracking market movements, Gate's got solid real-time data on all of these.
