Dog whales are indeed insidious. I’ve said many times that they refuse to give more, and since the chart pattern is different and requires reaching 2280, they have tried several times last week to hit that level. Looking at the market data with a bit of boldness, the dog whales never delivered or went there. Now it appears they also realize that prolonged conflict will inevitably cause a decline, so they chose to escalate the battle during this short-term window to push prices higher at the lowest cost—first for safety, then to accumulate short positions, and finally to wipe out the longs! The plan for this week has already been set.
