# If You Can Clarify These 5 Things, You've Already Won Against 99% of the World. Everything Else Is Just Noise.
This isn't just my experience—it's my observation of how the world fundamentally operates.
Even if you have nothing right now, hold these 5 cards, and you've won.
Many people ask me: How should I live a good life?
My answer is always the same: Do subtraction.
You don't need to own everything. You only need to own what gives you long-term freedom.
## First: A Healthy Body (That's Your 1, Everything Else Is 0)
This is the easiest thing to overlook and the most expensive to recover. I've seen countless intelligent people trade health for money, only to later spend far more money buying their lives back. The logic is fundamentally flawed from the start.
Here's what you should do:
- Sweat at least once every day.
- Eliminate junk food that spikes your dopamine instantly but traps you in prolonged emptiness afterward.
- Guarantee your sleep—it's the brain's only self-repair mechanism.
Remember: a healthy person has 1,000 wishes, while a sick person has only one.
## Second: A Home That Puts Your Mind at Ease
This isn't about a mansion. It's about a space where you can block out noise and completely relax.
Environment quietly shapes your will.
Here's what you should do:
- Find a place close to nature or with abundant natural light.
- Throw away 80% of the unused clutter in your home.
- Keep your space clean—only then will your thinking be clear.
## Third: A Few Deep, High-Quality Relationships
Don't pursue breadth in your social circle. If you know 1,000 people but can't have a deep conversation with any of them at 3 AM, that's social poverty.
What you need are people who can support each other and be genuinely honest with one another.
Here's what you should do:
- Distance yourself from anyone who drains you, creates internal conflict, or requires you to compromise yourself to please them.
- If you can't imagine working with someone for a lifetime, don't work with them for a single day.
- Save your time for those 3-5 people who truly understand you.
## Fourth: A Job That Feels Like "Play"
This is the hardest point, but it's also what separates exceptional people from ordinary ones.
Ordinary people are moving bricks. Exceptional people are playing a game they love and excel at.
Here's what you should do:
- Find your "talent" and "unique knowledge."
- What feels like play to you but is painful to others? That's your path.
- Use leverage (code, media, capital). Make your work generate value even while you sleep.
## Fifth: Wealth Enough to Buy Back Your Time
Money has only one true purpose: not buying fancy cars or watches, but giving you the power to say "no."
When you have enough money to control your own time, you're truly free.
Here's what you should do:
- Pursue assets, not wages.
- Learn about compound growth—whether in wealth, knowledge, or relationships, make long-term bets.
- Earn enough to cover your basic living expenses, then completely exit meaningless zero-sum competition.
That's it.
Sounds simple, right? But most people chase fame, power, and others' approval. Those things are like saltwater—the more you drink, the thirstier you become.
If you're feeling anxious now, sit down and ask yourself: Of these 5 things, how many do you have?
If you're missing some, go get them. If you have them all, learn to be quiet and enjoy your life.
