The eternal question: Do you Buy the Dip? Or
Wait for it to get worse? 🤔
Here is the mental framework I use when markets bleed:
1️⃣
The "Catch a Falling Knife" Risk: Just because it’s
down 10% doesn’t mean it won’t go down another 20%. If you buy too early, your
portfolio hurts.
2️⃣
The "Wait for Confirmation" Cost: If you wait for
green skies, you usually miss the bottom 5-10% of the move up. Time in the
market > Timing the market.
3️⃣
The Strategy:

If you have a 10+ year horizon? ** nibble.** 🥜
·
If you need the money in 6 months? Sit
on your hands. 🙅‍♂️
·
If you have cash? Dollar Cost Average
(DCA). Don't blow your wad all at once.
Volatility is the price of admission for returns. Don't
panic.
