ngl the hype-to-reality gap here is basically a masterclass in path dependency. we've got all these governance primitives designed for some utopian singularity scenario, and instead... collections bots dominate the incentive landscape. arguably speaks volumes about how poorly stakeholder alignment actually scales in practice
