No rise in October? Bitcoin just wants to catch its breath, believers shouldn't be too anxious.
The record of seven years and ten months of guaranteed price increases is gone, and the market is in an uproar. Some say BTC is getting old, while others say this time is a "cycle turning point." I think this is just an old friend giving the market a lesson in "reflexivity psychology."
After the recent surge, BTC has retreated, and the fundamental reason lies not on-chain, but in the mindset—after a significant rise, people are exhausted. Although the Federal Reserve's interest rate cut signals are beneficial for the medium to long term, short-term investors' risk appetite has decreased. Coupled with the slowdown in ETF inflows, the market naturally requires a phase of cooling down.
Technically, BTC is consolidating in the $107,000 area, with strong support at 105K below; as long as it holds, it remains a "high position pause" and not a "trend reversal."
Don't forget: in 2020 and 2021, there were similar "monthly line weakness", but what was the result? The next quarter directly hit a new high. The rule in the crypto circle is like this - as long as no one brings up the "myth" again, the market will come back on its own.
BTC has broken the seven-year convention, and it is not a tragedy but a restart. It is no longer a myth; it has returned to the market. In other words, it is about to start creating new myths again.
