Gate News reports that, as of March 16, according to Blockworks charts, the on-chain weekly spot BTC trading volume has exceeded $3 billion until March 8, 2026. Data shows that over 97% of the trading volume is concentrated on six chains: Base accounts for 43%, ranking first; Ethereum accounts for 13%; Arbitrum accounts for 12%; BNB and HyperCore each account for 10%; Solana accounts for 9%. Base has become the primary network for on-chain spot BTC trading.
