Why is Samsung able to earn more than Nvidia and Apple? The answer lies in the industry chain.
If we only look at brand influence, many might think Apple and Nvidia are the most profitable companies in the tech industry. However, Samsung's latest single-quarter profit surpassed both, once again reshaping market perceptions.
In fact, the biggest reason behind this is not a single product, but the layout of the industrial chain. Samsung not only produces smartphones but also owns globally leading memory chip, display panel, and wafer manufacturing businesses. This means that whether it's AI servers or consumer electronics, as long as industry demand grows, Samsung has the opportunity to participate.
Especially after the rapid development of the AI industry, the importance of high-performance memory chips has continued to rise. AI model training requires processing massive amounts of data, and high-speed memory is a critical component in improving overall computing power efficiency. Therefore, the recovery of the memory market has also allowed Samsung to release profits.
From a capital market perspective, this also indicates that investment logic is changing. In the past, the market preferred to chase end products, but now more and more funds are focusing on infrastructure and core components, as these links also have long-term growth potential.
Of course, the semiconductor industry still has obvious cyclicality. The current significant profit growth is closely related to the industry's cyclical recovery. If market supply and demand change in the future, profitability may also adjust, so it cannot be simply assumed that high profits will persist.
It is worth affirming that Samsung continues to increase R&D investment, continuously deploying in advanced processes, HBM, and new memory technologies, laying the foundation for future development. This is also an important reason why international capital continues to focus on its long-term value.
Samsung's profit surpassing Nvidia and Apple is not a coincidence but a microcosm of the comprehensive prosperity of the AI industrial chain. In the future, whoever can continuously master core technologies will have a better chance to take the initiative in the next round of technological competition. #三星单季利润超英伟达苹果
