7.7 Tuesday Noon Market Analysis
The leading global index, South Korea's KOSPI, has circuit-breakered again. SK Hynix and Samsung are about to drag the Nasdaq down with them.
Let's first discuss the current status of the Nasdaq and the KOSPI.
1. The KOSPI has finally dropped -6%, dragged down by chip manufacturers. The profit growth driven by AI can no longer continue. High market expectations combined with high profit demands directly amplify investors' concerns. AI computing, storage, and other Korean tech stocks started circuit-breaking and plunging today. Samsung fell -8% today, and SK Hynix fell -7.8%.
2. Due to the drop in the KOSPI and the drag from Samsung, Nasdaq futures also opened lower today. All the impressive performances brought by AI have been consumed by the market. Nasdaq stocks like Micron and SanDisk will also be dragged down by Samsung and SK Hynix, because of the deep binding between AI and storage.
Now let's talk about Bitcoin's daytime session today.
1. Last night, MicroStrategy sold 3,600 Bitcoin, worth $200 million, which indeed caused a panic drop of 1,500 points. But no one expected the rebound to be faster and stronger, treating our short positions like a comma—used to drop when needed, but when not in use, they want to squeeze us.
2. Today's daytime session dropped 1,000 points, and the market has once again returned to 63,300. Your short entry point. I think this may be consuming the bearish sentiment brought by the KOSPI circuit breaker.
3. If the price slowly declines during the day to 62,800–62,500 and then stops, remaining sideways, then we should wait and see if the Nasdaq will open lower at 21:30. If it doesn't open lower and move down, Bitcoin will likely either consolidate or rebound during the night session. Although it's not highly correlated with the Nasdaq, macro and economic impacts still apply.
BTC Operation Suggestion: Short at 63,500–64,500, stop loss above 65,000, take profit at 62,800–60,500.
ETH Operation Suggestion: Short around 1,800, stop loss at 1,850, take profit at 1,760–1,680.
