Citrea just unlocked programmable money on Bitcoin. The first ZK rollup to settle directly on the world's oldest blockchain is now live on Gate Futures with up to 20x leverage — and the CTR token that powers this entire coordination layer is trading right now.

The remaining 40% — investors at 19.35% and early contributors at 20.66% — sits under a four-year lock-up with a one-year cliff. The dual treasury model separates direct community governance from foundation operations, and the gauge system allows stakers to vote emissions toward specific application pools.

🔹 Staking creates a self-reinforcing flywheel. Users stake CTR to receive xCTR, a non-transferable governance token that controls liquidity incentives across the ecosystem. Active voters earn emissions on the pools they support, while inactive stakers receive only penalty fees from early unstakers. The 90-day unstaking window — with a 50% instant-exit penalty — distributes fees to loyal participants. This structure rewards commitment and channels value back to those actively shaping the network.
