According to the announcement from the NPC News Center, at 10 a.m. today, the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress held a press conference at the Media Center. The Minister of Education, Huai Jinpeng; Minister of Civil Affairs, Lu Zhiyuan; Minister of Human Resources and Social Security, Wang Xiaoping; Minister of Culture and Tourism, Sun Yeli; and Director of the National Health Commission, Lei Haishao, answered questions from Chinese and foreign journalists on topics related to education, civil affairs, human resources and social security, culture and tourism, health, and other issues.

At 3 p.m. today, the State Council Information Office held a briefing to interpret the “14th Five-Year Plan” Outline (Draft) with Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, Zheng Bei, and answered questions from reporters.

According to CCTV News, today the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress held group meetings throughout the day. In the morning, they reviewed the plans and drafts, as well as the budget reports and drafts.

In the afternoon, the Finance and Economics Committee of the NPC reviewed the draft outline of the “14th Five-Year Plan,” the plans and drafts, and the budget reports and drafts, and separately submitted reports on the review results of the draft outline, plans, and budget.

The Fourth Session of the 14th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference

In the morning, the Fourth Session of the 14th CPPCC held group meetings to discuss the government work report, the plan report, and the budget report.

In the afternoon, the second plenary session was held, where members delivered speeches at the conference.
